Mayflower Marathon

For 29 years, the FM99 and 106.9 The Fox Mayflower Marathon has been one of Hampton Roads’ most cherished traditions, uniting our community to help every neighbor enjoy the holiday season as it should be, filled with togetherness and good food.

This year’s event runs nonstop from Friday, November 21, through Sunday, November 23, for 57 hours of generosity and impact. With two convenient locations, you can simply drive through to drop off contributions. You won’t miss the giant tents and trucks set up to welcome you, along with more than 700 volunteers ready to keep the process running smoothly.

We encourage donations of funds, dry goods, holiday staples, and frozen turkeys, all of which help families prepare festive meals. For those who can’t attend in person, online giving offers a powerful way to participate and make an impact from anywhere.

Adding to the excitement, we’re proud to announce a special $35,000 matching gift from Kroger, doubling the impact of every dollar donated. Thank you, also, to this year’s t-shirt sponsor, Rivers Casino Portsmouth.

But the work doesn’t stop when the marathon ends. In the days immediately following the event, all food collected is swiftly distributed to more than 220 partner agencies, ensuring families have what they need for a Thanksgiving meal. Each full trunk is a testament to what you make possible: joy in the season for thousands of neighbors.
