Foodbank to Serve Up to 500 Households at March Suffolk Drive-Thru Food Pantry

Norfolk, VA – February 23, 2023 – As inflation continues to put pressure on food-insecure families, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore and the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority will hold a drive-thru distribution at 530 E. Pinner Street in Suffolk on Saturday, March 4 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Funded by City Council through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, it is open to all Suffolk residents on a first come, first serve basis. Each household will receive approximately 45 pounds of fresh produce, lean protein, and shelf-stable foods.
