Foodbank to Hold Next in Series of Emergency Food Distributions Following Family Dollar Fire in Norfolk

With No Restoration Work Underway, Neighborhood Struggles with Food Options

WHAT: The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore staging drive-thru and walk-up food pantry of USDA products.

WHO: Volunteers and Foodbank staff will distribute boxes of shelf-stable food items, lean protein, and produce, each one containing approximately 35 pounds of food.

WHEN: Friday, March 24 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

WHERE: 720 Church Street, Norfolk (corner of Church St. and Brambleton Ave.)
