The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and Eastern Shore to Receive 25,000-Pound Protein Donation from Smithfield Foods Leading into Annual Legal Food Frenzy

WHAT: The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore will receive a donation of more than 25,000-pounds of protein, the equivalent of more than 100,000 servings, from Smithfield Foods to support the organization amid supply chain challenges. The donation presentation will take place leading into the 16th Annual Statewide Legal Food Frenzy, the Commonwealth’s largest and longest-running corporate fundraising competition.
